Sharing the Thread that connects us all together… Stories.
Story Tellers
Who We Are…
Taylor Whitley

Taylor is a documentary storyteller, photographer, filmmaker, and writer based in North Carolina. Through Human Thread Project, he documents real people and real stories — capturing the beauty, struggle, faith, hope, and humanity that connect us all. His work focuses on honest storytelling through photojournalism, documentary film, and written narratives that preserve moments often overlooked in everyday life.
With a background in law enforcement, ministry, missions, and visual storytelling through videography, Taylor’s passion is uncovering the human thread woven through communities, families, and individuals both locally and around the world. Whether documenting small-town America, foster and adoptive families, widows, missionaries, or ordinary people living extraordinary stories, his goal is simple: to tell stories that make people feel seen, connected, and reminded of what it means to be human.
He believes every person carries a story worth telling, and stories are what connects us.
